Fog light help

Default Fog light help

I bought fog lights for my coup v6 05 accord and i connected all wires like it said but theres like three wires i cant find where to plug in. So my question is, can i just split the wires and tap into the headligth so they turn on with the head lights? if so how do i do i t i tried and they turned on but they dont turn off when i turn the lights off can anyone who has tried this please give me feedback. i need help

I had mine wired to a fuse that only worked when the key was in Acc.

where was the fus in the engine or under the stering whell

Under the steering well. Dont remember what fuse i ran it to,but have a multi meter in hand,turn the key,and find out what works when the key is turned,you want to get the power source away from the battery.

i tried that pdf file on how to install but i still had 3 wires harnesses that didnt go anywherre i spent hours looking for them but i have an 05 and they just werent there i wanna just split them ito my headlights or a fuse that turns off when the car is off or headlight switch is off any recommendation? and which color wires do i use i have three of them anyone thats done this so the can show me how

I honestly have no clue because I don't know if there are relays in the harness or not. If it doesn't work, you may have gotten the wrong part.

The (red?) wire that you would have probably run to the battery as a source of power should be wired to the fuse.

Dude your making this seem complicated,the installation is simpler than a radio install..Which you seem to know all about.

3 Wires or harnesses? Prolly three wires to hook up a relay....

If not just trace the wires see whats going on and make it work, being a big shot installer you shouldn't need any more advice than that. Halogens are not polar so just feed them a current, switch it, and call it a day....
