Default USB not responding - 2016 Accord

Good afternoon,

I have a problem with my 1.5 Amp USB port that is located in the cubby section of the center dash. When I plug my charger in, it normally connects to Apple CarPlay. Recently, the USB will not connect and displays "USB not responding" on the screen. I can't find any information online for a replacement or a fix for the problem.

Any help would be appreciate,

Chris

Welcome!

First step is to try a different cable, and also a different device. Also try a USB thumbdrive to check function of the radio. You may need to reset the radio (pulling the radio memory fuse so it forgets everything).

Thanks, it looks like it was the cable. I will make mental note for the radio reset option. I appreciate your help
