1995 honda accord weird shifting
I just got a 1995 honda accord with the f22b1 engine and auto trans, i bought the car knowing the tranny was shot, well i went to picked it up and the tranny seems to shift fine. But when you slow down to go around a corner or something and then you push on the gas the rpms go up like its sliping but then shifts into the next gear. The funny thing is it does it sometime and others its shifts fine alittle hard but fine. I was thinkin maybe the tranny filter is getting pluged up and it needs to build so much pressure to shift into gear. Other than that it shifts great and goes like crazy. I just figured that if the tranny was shot it would slip all the time when it shifts? Im new to owning a honda with auto tranny so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

mine does same thing. if you dont hit the gas too hard it should drive perfectly fine, then once your around the turn your ok to slam that pedal lol not sure if it is a mechanical problem, but if so someone let me know

How does the fluid look?...Hopefully the owner be4 you ONLY USED HONDA ATF if not they don’t like to work with any other fluid. Iv been there done that not fun.
Try and do a drain and fill since you CANT POWER FLUSH honda trannys.
You have a non-serviceable trans filter. Only way to get to it is by rebuilding the tranny. At the point you might as well buy another tranny it's cheaper.
Also when you do the drain and fill see how much metal shavings are on the drain plug. That will give you an idea of how much the trans has been worn
