I got a 99 Accord 4D A/T 2.3L Engine. It dies on traffic and won't start. The auto shop replaced the fuel pump and the car runs smoothly again but after 2 days it won't start again. I have my regular mechanic checked it and diagnosed it as faulty distributor and we had it replaced with a new one. The car runs smoothly but again after 3 days it won't start again. After 1 day it start and run smoothly for 2 hours but won't restart again. There is no CEL code being displayed. I started playing with the ignition switch and I noticed that when I turn the key to No.2 position CEL comes on, the engine will start and rev smoothly but if i tried to redo it after an hour or 2 CEL won't come on, the engine will turn but it won't start. Thats my observation for the last 2 days. You're expert advices will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
