I want to make the cabin more quiet on my 2009 EXL any suggestions.

Depends on how much work and money youre willing to put into it.

If youve got the place to do it and can spare a Saturday then pull out the seats and carpet and slap a layer of Dynamat Extreme along the floor and door panels. This will add mass and rigidity to your sheet metal making it much less susceptible to resonating from road vibrations. Then add a layer of DynaPad down. This will block the road and engine noise.

Its pricey but it works.

How much road noise would you eliminate if you used 1/2 inch Dynapad without a layer of Dynamat extreme? $140 for the Dynapad is a lot easier to take than $600 for the Dynamat Extreme.
I've got a 2009 EXL also and I can't believe how noisy it is. I thought maybe it was the tires (Michelin pilots), but my local tire store said they are good, quiet tires.
