what does a engine overhaul kit consist of? where can i buy a kit for my 2003 ex v6 sedan? do they make overhaul kits? or do i need to buy the parts seperatly? also, my co worker has a 2005 accord v6 sedan. he wants to upgrade hisignition and fuel system. i told him that i bought all my parts seperatley, so are there any complete ignition and fuel system upgrade kits? thx and aloha

 

By overhaul, do you mean a tune up? If your buddies car is completely stock he doesnt need to upgrade his ignition or fuel system.

 

actually, im looking for a lil something more than a tune up. i wanna get my engine back to almost new i guess. i already have alot of upgrades on it, but i just wanted to know what a overhaul kit consists of. a tune up one, and a more extensive one too. sorry if im confusing anyone, but im not a mechanicaly incined person when it comes to cars. as far as my co worker goes, i belive he has a few basic parts for his car that he didnt install yet. if im not mistaken, he has headers, cai, exhaust, cams and a couple more, but im not to sure.

 

What upgrades do you have. I've never heard of an "overhaul" kit unless you mean rebuilding the engine for more power. There are no cams for the 03+ V6's unless he's using CL-S cams. I dont even think anyone makes cam gears for them.

 

the CL -S cams will NOT work on a 03+ V6 engine block is too short.....
