Default quick piston Q

so, my cars at just over 120,000 miles and its burnin oil pretty frequently. im aware that to fix oil burning id need at least new rings, right? well, since i may do rings, why not just do pistons along with em? what pistons would drop into my f23 other than stock? (that would be better than stock obviously)

K20 pistons are the same bore size 86mm, but will increase compression. You'll pretty much end up rebuilding the bottom end. Almost not worth it, just get a new engine.

As BCK said, I would check local salvage yards for a relatively low mileage F23. You can probably get one for $300 or so. That may even be cheaper than replacing the pistons & rings. You also may be able to sell your old engine to another salvage yard.
Are you planning on DIYing? or Paying someone to do it?

If the oil is coming through the valve stem seals, then you need new seals. Not new rings.

Dry & wet compression test...
