if propper maint. has been done on vehicle, oil changes ect. Would it be safe to switch to full synthetic oil without any leaks? Or would it be better to stay with (Dino) Castrol or something?

My preference is to use synthetic on my turbo cars (the Saabs) and petroleum oil in the Hondas. The Saab 9³requires it, & I'm too lazy to do a bunch of oil analysis & extend long drain intervals on the Hondas - so it's not worth it for my non-turbo cars.

ok, one more question. I got the thing replaced like I said. (the seal thing). But when I take my car to the 4500-5600RPM range, you here a slight pshhhhhh sound as I accelerate. Is this VTEC or something going wrong? Also, when I floor the car getting on the highway, the sound occurs again. I guess I never notice it because I listen to my music a tad loud, but not defening. Is this sound normal? Thanks in advance
