I'm too lazy to read back through this whole thread right now... Have you been in the console where the ECU is located? I've heard (rarely) about bent or dislodged pins where the wiring harness plugs directly onto the ECU.

I don't have a pin-out for those plugs, but probably you can find one with some searching. The pin-out will be different for ULEV vs. non-ULEV cars.

I will check the ECU. I did have a VAFC II on this car and it had been tapped into the wires. But When I removed it I made sure the wires were put back together propperly. That was done about 90k miles ago. I never messed with the pins or connectors but I will recheck my work.

And the distributor, coil, icm and plugs were replaced when I was having the hot stall out issue. they are a month old give or take a week. When I got the distributor I purchased it from Advanced Auto Parts and they looked it up by engine code. F23a4 (ULEV)

The last time this problem happened I was in city traffic after w longer drive and it was barely holding idle. So obviously internal engine heat has something to do with it

No red dust on the CYP sensor. There is a little oil leaking into the housing but not much at all. The wires looked good too...
