03 Accord Ex V6 Heater not blowing heat!
Strange as this may sound, a theory is low freon levels negatively affecting the climate control air mix temperature on the driver's side.
Climate Control can operate full-automatic or semi-automatic. In full-automatic, the system automatically selects the proper mix of cooled and/or heated air that will, as quickly as possible, raise or lower the interior temperature from its current level to the set temperature. The system also adjusts the fan speed and changes the direction of air delivery.
When the temperature is set to its lower limit (60F/18C) or its upper limit (90F/32C), the system runs at full cooling or full heating only. It does not regulate the interior temperature. When the temperature is set between the lower and upper limits, the system regulates the interior temperature to the set value.
Essentially, with climate control in full-automatic operation, the A/C may be used together with the heat to try to regulate the interior temperature.
Set the temperature to the upper limit (90F) for both sides, do you have heat on the driver's side?
Next try selecting A/C OFF, to see if you can now have heat on the driver's side even at a lower temperature setting.

Thank you, it seems to work a bit better with A/C off. It still definitely is cooler tho. Passenger seems to heat to temp. Freeway temps are definitely hotter. F the 03 Accords! I can't wait to get my car back from her! I'll try to recharge the Freon which I guess there is a leak in that now.. Is it possible it is a leaky heater core? Now I'm smelling antifreeze.. It might be residual from when I bled the motor.. At least I hope so.
BTW thank all of you for responding so quickly! This forum is excellent!

With the A/C off, if the heat was not normal even though there was some improvement, then it may not be due to low freon levels.
UV dye and UV light can help determine if there is a coolant leak, although it can be harder to find sometimes if it is at the heater core.
