04 Accord - Tracking down oil leak
Working on my god daughters 04 Accord Sedan with an ongoing oil leak. Here are some details-
My plan is to remove belt and pulley and see what it looks like back there. Any suggestions would be much appeciated!
- Passenger side of engine.
- I replaced the VTEC solenoid gasket (this was also leaking)
- Removed right front wheel and ran motor holding up piece of paper (see photos). Oil is being sparyed by the spinning belt.
- Crankshaft pulley oil seal? Are there any other seals in that area that I should be suspoicious of? Timing chain cover does not appear to be leaking

This is directly behind the belt pulley
Takes a couple of minutes to produce this much spray.

You say timing chain, so it must be the 4-cyl engine? Please confirm that.
Just to rule out something easy, check to see whether the oil filter is seated correctly. But I don't think it would spray from the pulleys that way.
There's also a tensioner for the timing chain around there. Might be partly hidden under the pulley, so maybe it would throw the oil like that.

Unless you remove the crankshaft pulley, you may not be able to see a couple things.
#3 is a crankshaft timing sensor.
#2 is a cover over the timing-chain tensioner.
Either of those things would be easier to fix than the front crankshaft seal #6.
