I am curious are you able to swap out Individual buttons on the unit? I want to have my passenger window be automatic as well. Is that something I can do myself or does it require a lot of work, if anyone has suggestions or knowledge on this I’d appreciate it thank you

 

The switch doesn't directly command the window to auto open/close. When you hit the switch to auto, it sends a signal to the driver's MICU (computer) and the computer tells the window motor to auto open/close.

Replacing the passenger window with an auto switch will not auto open/close the window, because the MICU isn't wired or programmed for this function. I'm sure it could be done, but it would be much more complicated than swapping the switch. Also swapping the switch may not be simple either.
