My '90 accord's cooling fan runs whenever it feels like it, key on or off, engine hot or cold. If the car sits for a day or two, it will drain my battery completely. I thought I might have a bad battery, but had it charged to 12.6 volts and it only lost 0.1 volt over a 24 hour period. I'm assuming my battery is ok. I also was told that if you try to unplug one or the other of the thermoswitches (A or B) and that would determine if one of those was bad. I unplug one or both of them and the fan still continues to run. The only way I can keep the battery from going dead, is to unhook the battery or pull out the cooling fan relay.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

 

Both those fan switches feed into the fan timer module, which is not the same as the fan relay. It's possible that timer module is screwed up.

 

Where do I find the fan timer module, and what kind of labor is it to replace it? Is there a way of testing it?
