Default 1994 accord fan problem

i got a 94 accord ex manuel trans. the fan on the left of the radiator wen looking at engine from front has a cable that hooks up to wat seems to be the thermostat. ( the big hose that goes from the radiator to the engine)well its 2 little cable ones black and the other is green and white well the black one is fine its hooked up to the connecter but the green is cut off the connecter , wen i pull the green wire to the connecter the fan turns on, the left one.. only wen the veh. is off... everything is working fine it doesnt overheat or nothing my temp. guage works fine is this green wire being disconnected affect anything?

left (I am assuming you mean the drivers side fan?) should be the back up fan for the AC being on I believe...i could be wrong but I think thats how it goes.....when your car heats up does the other fan come on and shut off? Do you use the AC? is your AC charged properly?

I am pretty sure the pass. side fan is the main cooling fan and the drivers is for when the AC is being used.

you could wire it into a switch and manually control it
