1994 Hinda Accord EX Cooling Fan Problems
Suggest removing thermoswitch A (on thermostat housing below/behind distributor) and jumpering the harness connector sockets w/ a wire short. Turn keyswtich to ON. Cooling fans should engage and run if they are good.
If they don't and fuses are good (fuses 21 & 34 in underhood fuse box), then either both fan motors are bad, both fan relays are bad, or wiring fault disabling both.
The above won't help AC system problem which is likely a separate issue. Find out if problem w/ cooling fans and then address AC. Leak allowing loss of refrigerant will disable compressor to protect system from operating w/o refrigerant/lubricant.
good luck

I just went through this earlier this summer with my 94 Accord. It's got high miles so the fans were probably ready to go. BOTH fans had stopped working maybe not at the same time but when I started using the ac, the car would overheat. When using the ac, the engine would start "hunting" at a traffic stop at idle. It would eventually cut the engine off unless the ac was shut off. Once both fan motors were replaced, the idling problem with ac operating was gone. Recommend disconnecting fans and testing. Hope this helps.
