1994 Accord irratic idle

Me,

Car is off and cold.

Open the bleeder - or remove all the way.

Turn the heat to max.

Fill or top of rad (SLOWLY) until coolant comes out of the bleeder at a good pace.

Replace bleeder and or tighten.

Put rad cap on - ONLY to first click.

Start car and let is run until fans cycle.....ok I might shorten this in the cold to ~20 minutes.

Remove cap and check level. Add if needed.

Be sure to check the level in the overflow as well.

I replaced thermostat;re-bled system again(third time).Guage @ 4 o'clock ;very good heat think we have it repaired;time will tell
Thanks for help
Thought I would pass this on.My local Carquest wanted$25.79 for Stat and gasket;told them to keep it; went to Murray's came to $10.49 pays to shop around
