and rotor. Then you might think about replacing the plugs.

Does the mis fire happen at idle or at speed....say @ 1500 to 2200 rpm?

it happens once the car warms up then i rev the engine to about 2k and when the rpm drops to idle it starts with the misfire

What poorman212 was asking about the 1800-2200 rpm was to see if the EGR ports are causing the misfire.

It is a common problem and is simple to fix. Just open the common DIY thread on top of the gen tech help forum. There is a link to cleaning EGR ports under the 94-97 accord heading.

still not working, I have cleaned my throttle body and taken it completely apart, I also cleaned the egr valve but I could not find a thread for it. I put new plugs and wires and also got my ignitor checked and it passed. This issue only happens once the car gets into closed loop. I will have the car idling and riv it up to abut 2k hold it there for 6-10 seconds and when it goes back to idle speed the car begins to misfire on cylinder one and sometimes even die out. Please help!

you guys are great the car runs amazing now, I did get a code for insufficient egr valve lift, but i deleted it and have not had any codes yet
