1997 honda accord se 4cyl srs issue

so today i went out and jumpered the blue connector under the glovebox and the code is 2-2 it had 2 long flashes and 2 short flashes this is the only code the car gave me

That code is for increased resistance in the passenger side air bag.

Here is the first step in the diagnosis:|

1 Turn off ignition switch.
2 Disconnect battery, wait three minutes
3 Disconnect front passenger air bag electrical connector
4 Connect red SRS service connector to the wiring harness electrical connector
5 Reconnect battery
6 Erase SRS codes
7 Turn off ignition switch and disconnect the wire from the MES connector
8 Short the service connector under glove box
9 Turn on ignition switch and count the srs flashes (If any)

let us know what you find.

ok after finding code 2-2 which is flaging resistance to high on the pass side airbag so i remove and replaced passenger side airbag cleared the codes and the light went away car works great. thanks everyone for the help
