2000 Accord severe oil leak
My 2000 Accord EX 4 cly. has a severe oil leak that looks like it's coming from the area where sending unit mounts just below the valve cover. I put in oil dye and this is were it was coming from. How do i fix this. Is pumping the oil out quickly. Nearly a quart of oil ever 30 miles.

There's a few different sending units... so where is it leaking??
The back-side of the engine block has the oil-pressure switch, roughly above the oil filter. That can leak oil through the switch itself.
On the end near the distributor, those are water-temperature senders. Seems like they would leak antifreeze, not oil.

2000 Accord oil leak
Had an oil leak from the right(pass) side of the engine. Had the Distributor seal and eventually the distributor body replaced with no result. The leak was not as severe as described here. I checked the pan gasket- all dry. Leak continued for over a year. Just had the car in for service and the tech noticed the oil leaking out of the oil pressure sender. Replaced that and no more leak. Have had oil senders leak in the past on other cars but not sure why I never looked at it as the source. It is buried under wires/hoses so perhaps that's why I never noticed. My 2000 Honda has more than 350K.
