I only read in Honda technical articles of a possible faulty door lock actuator or the MICU as the problem with the locking issue you had. That's why I wanted to confirm that the lock cylinder switch can cause such an issue.

Glad you figured out the problem.

The first sign that the cylinder lock switch is mulfunctioning is that the alarm doesn't arm or disarm by twisting the key in the keylock.
