2007 Accord Remote Start
Adding Remote Start to wife's 2007 Accord V6.
Specifically, Avital 5305L with idataLINK ALCA (which I've already flashed for vehicle specifics). I plan to use the DataBus interface of the ALCA as much as possible for connection to minimize wiring on vehicle.
Installation instructions from Avital and idataLINK (and also most all of YouTube video's) assume you are installing the ENTIRE alarm package of the Avital system. This seems redundant since the factory alarm system is already in the vehicle. Yes? No? Can ONLY the remote start feature be connected and basically keep the factory alarm features intact? Can anybody point to a link or video of install specific for 03-07 Accord?
