92 Accord Ignitor Mystery

92 Accord Ignitor Mystery
OK, been diagnosing 92 Accord w 256k mi having stalling issues.
It appears ignition switch was replaced (door open/key in ignition alarm beeps without key in it).
Checked coil for fire - none.
ICM test proved no flashy on blue wire when checked. Replaced ICM. Replaced coil since it was original one.
Anyways, ran fine for a few weeks and now has begun stalling again. After a hard stall with no sign of cranking over a several hours. I pulled the coil wire, no fire. I pulled Dist cap and checked ICM, flashing. Put the cap back on, fired right up.
What gives?
Why would pulling the cap and putting it back on change things?
Could this be an ECU thing?
Oil on outside exterior bottom of dist cap, not in exterior, so could this oil be coming from bad plug seals?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Check for 12v on Blk/Yel wire to the distributor connector. Problem sounds like faulty ignition switch assy, however could be an ECU issue.
Is Check Engine Light on? If yes, get the codes for additional help.
good luck
