Hello all,

My Accord has just developed a problem out of the blue. The car with 226K has always run perfect. The last two time while driving the engine started to go into a stutter and the ABS and dash light come on then go off. Then it runs fine for a few minutes then the same thing happens. Appears to be an electronic problem. I replaced the alternator two weeks ago and its been running fine.

Any help please.

Check the battery connections to be sure they are clean and tight. Follow the ground cable from battery, it should make contact with the body of the car and then the trans. Remove the bolts holding those points and clean them as well - then replace the bolts.
