Default 92 Honda accord Stalling

I am trying to fix my moms car. It is a 92 Honda accord with the 2.2 4 cylinder pfi ( programmed fuel injection) it has an automatic transmission. The car will start every time but will not stay running all the time. It just recently had the rotor distibutor cap , spark plugs and wires replaced. The codes that came up were 4 , 43, 8 . I am not familiar with fuel injected vehicles or foreign vehicles for that matter. The car will run perefectly fine then just stall out. I have checked several things to try and narrow down the problem but I am stumped. I belive it is some sort of sensor any Ideas?

Code 43 is a general code for the fuel supply system.

The codes 4 and 8 are for two sensors in the distributor. When you removed the distributor cap did it have any oil inside, or a heavy coating of a red/brown dust?

There is also a ground wire and bolt under the distributor on the thermostat housing that you should check. I would unbolt it, clean the eyelet and bolt of any rust with a wire brush, then reinstall the bolt.

The car was taken to a local gas station when I was at work all they did was change the distributor/rotor , air filter, plugs and wires. They charged her $400.00 including a tow no more then a mile down the street. So I am not sure of the condition of the old distributor.

I would say the best course of action would be to replace the dist.
Reman units from the parts store do not usually include an ignitor unit, so save your old one to reinstall.
Code 43 was lost in translation...it really means the O2 sensor is reading rich [unburned oxides]. That code could well be caused by the malfunction in the dist.
