Default 94 airbag replacement...Could use a little help

I recently had a front-end collision, both airbags deployed. Front end is still in decent shape except for some cosmetics, engine mount and cooling fan. I picked up a set of bags from ebay and dont want them to accidentally pop when i put them in. Where is the front impact sensor located and what does it look like? If it doesnt look physically damaged is there a way to test it. How do you know if you need a clock spring and or module? i read somewhere that you could jump out the connector to reset the faults, is this true and whats the procedure if so? any help is appreciated. Windshields and airbags are staring to thin out my pockets
