'95 low beams
Hi All,
I've tried to replace my low lights, both of blew up (in different times, fuses are fine). The problem is that I can't remove the bulbs from the headlights,
Is there anything else, beside 'twisting' the bulbs? I've seent there is an 'open-lock' sign, and I've followed that, but still haven't been able to remove the bubls.
Worst is, I've tried to use some pump pliers (is that the english name?) in one of the bulbs, and I broke all the plastic, so I have the sense that I'll have to remove the whole headlight just to get to the bulb and take it out.
I've seen this video
and looks like taking the headlight out is a looooot of hassle (compared with just removing the bulb)
cheers

Did you break the plastic on the bulb, or did you break the ring on the headlight?
All you have to do is unplug the electrical connector from the bulb. Twist the plastic ring on the headlight to unlock the bulb. This just aligns the notches so the bulb can slide out. Installation is reverse.
If that plastic ring will not turn, use some WD-40. I remember mine was stuck and that helped.

Hi PA,
'Luckily', I just broke the bulb plastic, the headlight is fine. I didn't wanted to use WD40 because I was concerned about the oil in the headlight, what could happen with the heat in there.
I'll try again tomorrow (it's almost midnight where I am), and let you know how it goes. Thanks!!
