I have a 96 Honda Accord that is throwing 2 codes;

P0135 - Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0141 - Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

I tried clearing the codes with my code reader, but they come back immediately. I am fairly certain this means I need to replace both O2 Sensors. I have a cheap Harbor Freight multimeter that I could use to test it but since it's not that accurate should I just replace the sensors? Emissions for the car is coming up, so I guess that's just fate.

I have another issue where the car is idling rough at stops and when running, but I'm unsure if this is related to the O2 sensors. I'm thinking it's possible the timing is off from when I replaced the rear main seal. A friend of mine told me it could be that and possible the rear motor mount needs to be replaced as that has a hydraulic thing.

Assume this is a v6?

Did these two just show up at the same time?

 

4 cylinder.

I don't think so. The CEL has been on awhile but the rough idle has been going on for longer.

 

By the way it is an automatic.
