97 Accord - Radiator Fan Running
Folks,
just picked up a 97 honda accord.. 309+ on the odo... runs great and drives like a dream.
Occasionally when i stop the car, the radiator fan will start up and run for a few minutes - is that normal, or should I have the cooling system checked out?

Normal.
Look for problems if any of the following apply:
- If the fan runs after a real short drive (engine not warmed up).
- If the fan runs too long (like 1/2 hour or more) & drains the battery.
- If the engine overheats while driving or while idling.
Beginning in 1998 the fan control no longer allowed running after car is turned off.
