Are you trying to swap engines? Are you putting in the same engine?

no no no. just the transmission. not any kind of engine swap or anything. i just have a bad transmission on my bros 98 accord and he found another one and we herd that there was something about a tcu or ecu reset thing that had to be done but were not messing with anything like that, just swapping a 98 transmission with another 98 transmission.

Ok. You will not have to do anything with the PCM. That is for the immobilizer that remembers what keys work on your car.
