he said it gets louder as the fan is turned up, so it has to be some sort of problem with the blower motor.

 

maybe not though. if the problem is in the vent, duct, or even just near the blower motor, couldn't the noise be affected by the change in vibration at different blower speeds?

not unlikemy camaro's dash shuttering/buzzing/humming because the engine's reverb; the dsah is better and worse and certain rpm's.the dash making noises doesnt mean my engine is blown.

 

I just bought a 2008 Accord yesterday and when I turned the heat on this morning I heard the same kind of noice as anothervietguy is experiencing . I was reading on some other forms online and it seems like others have experience the same problem. After reading this form I will try it with engine turn off and also try to see if there is a leaf stuck. Could this be a Honda defect?
