Try getting the code from the trans, try searching for the below or in the DIY section of this forum on how to find the connector and shorting it.

The S light flashing means the transmission computer detected a problem. Follow the instructions on this site. Use a piece of wire or a thin paperclip to short the blue two pin connector behind the passenger side kick panel to get the code(s).

the tranny is fine shifts great no leaks and the problem is the car wont turn onmost of the time it does but on occasion when i put the key in and to the on possition the s light will flash and the car wont start wait about 2 to 5 min it will start no problem by the way it accelerates fine now seems the first mechanic i took it to didnt pit it in time right

It's a little strange situation, so do what PA suggested & read the transmission error codes. Even if you think the transmission is fine. For some reason the trans THINKS it has detected a problem, so you'll help all of us figure this out if you read the error codes.
