Default Bleeding ABS needed?

For a while my ABS system would make a loud hum and then turn off, turning on the ABS light. Now it will not make any noise, the light stays on and the system no longer takes in fluid. Is bleeding the fluid something I should try, or do I just attempt pulling some from the junkyard? Thanks for any advice!

You may want to get the ABS code(s). It is the same procedure as getting the check engine light codes, except you count the abs light flashes.

In the sticky at the top of this forum, there is a thread called Common DIY Threads. The CEL procedure is listed there.
