change "donut" exhaust gasket

It's possible the "nut" side is welded to the fitting. You need to turn the bolt side to release.

Nah. They're shown in the exhaust system diagram/drawing in my manual as "self-locking" nuts. Not welded on there.

I picked my battle on this one and lost. I give up. Off to the local independent shop for this. Appointment next Tuesday.
