Default Cruise Not Working

I press the button on the dash and nothing lights up. Buttons on the steering wheel don't do anything. So I pulled the dash button out, and there are 5 wires (pictured below). I probed them and the middle wire is a constant 12V. The white one, second from the left, is 12V only when the dash button is in the on/in position. The other 3 wires have no voltage.

I read somewhere that there should be 2 brake pedal switches (brake lights, and cruise), and the cruise one sometimes moves out of place. When I looked at the brake pedal, I only found one, and it seems to be functioning fine.

Also, what do these blue and green ***** do? They look like they might be potentiometers.

All of my fuses are good, except the tail lights fuse (still troubleshooting that), but I don't believe cruise is on that same circuit. What else should I check to get this cruise control working?

The ***** are the base of the two light bulbs. One bulb is a backlight, the other changes when you have the cruise turned on or off.

The blk/yel should have 12V when you have the key in the I or II position. The lt grn wire (second from left) will get power from the blk/yel when the CC switch is pressed for on. Blk on the left is constant ground. The red wires are for the backlight, so don't worry about them.

Your accord may only have one brake pedal switch. You can plug in the CC switch and unplug the brake pedal switch. The lt grn wire on the brake pedal switch comes from the CC switch. Use your volt meter on the lt grn wire to the brake pedal switch and a bare metal for the meter ground. That wire should get 12V when the CC switch is pressed on and no voltage when CC is pressed off.

You should test the blk ground wire. The meter continuity or resistance setting from that black wire with CC switch unplugged to a good body ground. The better test is use a 12V test light between blk/yel with key in II position and blk on that connector.
