Daytime Running Lights

RE: Daytime Running Lights
To me the real reward for going the DIY route is not having to buy a new vehicle. The "book" value of a well-used91 or92 Accord is maybe $3000, right? But when I look at our well-maintained Accord, I see a vehicle that is "worth" at least $25000 - the amount we're avoiding having to spend on a new car.
Presumably, ALL moving, wearing parts on the car will eventually fail. I think if an owner of an older Accord were to take it to a dealer to fixeverything that goes wrong with the car (and even without the assurance that it will be fixed right), the cost would probablybe prohibitive.
Another good thing about going DIY is that as time goes on, the owner knows more and more about his vehicle. This means that future maintenance becomes easier and easier, especially with forums like this available. (As long asone's health allows it, anyway.)

Hey canaccord96, glad to see you got it fixed. I have the 95 accord, and I had the exact same problem, just needed to take out the DRL module and solder 6 connections. But now, I have the HID conversion kit for high and low, and since the HID's are not made for DRL, and the highbeam and DRL are the same bulb, I had to pull the fuse for the DRL. Hahaha.
