DIY - 2012 Honda (NOT v6) Transmission help
#11
Hey everybody,
Total newbie question, but I need help.
I have a 2012 Honda Accord LX standard non-v6 model. I just changed the oil and now I want to change the transmission fluid. I need help locating the Drain plug as I cannot find it. I have youtube videos but most are in the 90s-2008 version, and it says the plug is on the passengers side.. took the wheel off and not there.. so i know its toward the driver side because but I just want assurance. Please help with a pic or diagram would highly be appreciated.

You have to either remove the plastic splash shield or cut an access port in the splash shield to access the drain bolt. 2008 - 2012 Accord 4 cylinders drain bolt location are the same, the drain bolt is near the front middle.
