I'm trying to figure out how to get my sunroof to work. It does not move or make any noise when pressing the button. I bought the car from someone this way. I'm not sure which fuse I would be looking for because the box under the dash does not have a diagram, but i notice that someone rigged the orange wire to a 10 amp fuse there just wrapping it. Also, the orange wire is connected by a 30 amp fuse not sure why. Other then all this I am not sure where to start looking for the cause of the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. One last thing, my horn does not work but fuse there is good, not sure if it matters that they cut out the airbag.

 

Fuses 28 & 29 in underhood fuse box. Also there is a main moonroof relay in underhood fuse box that could also be faulty.

there is no fuse 28 and 29 under the hood. it only goes up to number 25

 

Did you look at diagram on cover to ID the fuses?

My 1994 Accord manual shows fuses 28 and 29 as rear two fuses on only row of 3 fuses (third row from inside of fuse box).

Power window relay (drives moon roof relays) is on a single row (3rd from outside) and consists of only two relays. Power window relay is one to the front of vehicle.

The service manual numbers the fuses differently. In the sunroof/moonroof circuit, is the power window relay (located in the under hood fuse/relay box), a sunroof open relay and a sunroof close relay (both located near the under dash fuse box), the switch, and motor. See some of the attached pics. I included a pic. of the under hood fuse box based on the owner's manual.
