engine stalling

Unhappy engine stalling

good morning! glad to be a member. i have a honda accord 2000 lx for past 4years.great car ,good on gas, great ridebut once in a while it acts up,it seem that when the car idles for a while then turn it off.it will start but dies out wo'nt stay at idle rpm's.let it sit for a while and the car behaves like model citizen, when i get it to shop they ca'nt figure it out car is running smooth again,its only happened like 5 times, i want to give car to my youngest daughter but do'nt want her to go back to college without issue be resolved help!concerned Dad thanks

When that happens, do you smell gasoline? (especially at the tailpipe)

What I'm guessing, an injector might be leaking into the intake manifold. Start it soon, and it's a bit flooded. Wait an hour or more, & that gasoline has evaporated.

Run some fuel-injector cleaner through the gas tank.
