My clutch called for a 700 mile break-in with all city driving. I wasn't doing a whole lot of city driving at the time, so I drove 1300 miles and tried to get stuck in as much stop and go traffic as a I could. Worth it.

so ive been driving the car with a new clutch for a couple of days...and so far everything is smooth. however...everynow and then, at a complete stop, when i let go of the clutch pedal and give it gas to take off...it makes a few chirping noise. everyother gear is fine. what could that be? thanks

would've replied earlier, but I have limited internet on the weekends. does it sound kind of like a high pitched cricket? it's probably just a little clutch chatter.

haha no chirping tires thats for sure. I guess it could be just clutch chatter. I mean it only happens a few times right when i leave the house in the AM. and sometimes it doesnt do it at all. i'll give it another week or so to break the clutch in and hope it goes away lol.
