Help car ac/heat not blowing
#4
When turning on nothing blowing out of the vents? Possibly blower motor or fuse for blower motor. Motor is located passenger side under glove compartment. First I would turn on the controls and gently kick the blower motor. If it turns on it's the blower motor.

1. Check driver's under-dash Fuse No. 3 (7.5A) and under-hood Fuse No. 56 (40A) to see if they are blown.
2. Here one way to test that the blower motor works if you don't have a voltmeter, etc.:
a. Unplug the electrical connector to the blower motor.
b. Insert one end of a long piece of spare wire into the cavity terminal with the Blue/Red wire.
c. Plug the electrical connector back into the blower motor with the spare wire.
d. Turn the ignition ON.
e. Touch the other end of the long piece of spare wire to chassis ground (bare metal of the car). Does the motor run?
