honda accord 1995 will not start
Oil should not cause cross-firing. I've seen engines run fine w/ substantial oil accumulations in the spark plug wells.
Check for fire from spark plugs w/ timing light on lead (flash=fire), or ground plug to engine and turn engine over to check. Careful, if spark plug leads are leaking spark you can get shocked.
If spark shows OK, try removing and carefully spraying each spark plug lead w/ WD40 while battery is charging, or simply replace spark plug wires.
good luck

Just me but I'd like to ask a question or two.
1) After the "wash" did the car run? Meaning at anytime after "washing" did the car start and run.
2) Can we assume all of the normal tune up items are up to date?
Please let us know.

I waited around 24 hours to start it after the wash.
I dont know if all the items are up to date or not. I bought the car in february and have not had any problems at all until now
I feel stupid, you guys told me to put wd40 INSIDE the distributor cap, i didnt know I had to open it...I just put it on the connections
anyways, the car starts now...I had a mechanic look at it (for free luckily) and he told the cause was water in the distributor cap...(which probably has dried up by now)
Im buing a new cap and rotor...
thanks for the help

My last two cents....be sure the o-ring under the cap is there and looks good......some places that sell the cap, the o-ring will it come with a new cap...others don't.
