Default Just the p0170 and 0171

So I fixed the 1297 it seems- cleaned connections, checked grounds.
But
I got the CEL again but only got the 170-1 codes (lean fuel trim and lean engine). Whats happened is my engine idles a little high (1000rpm) when in neutral for a few seconds then goes back down to 750rpm. This is after an intake manifold swap however a vacuum test with the brake cleaner has not shown any leaks. I think it may be something else if the engine takes a few seconds to go back down.
What else could it be?

Also maybe on a related note- my CAI is a 3" diameter. Is that too big? Should I go down to a 2.5" dia? Would that help at all?

The person who I saw did the swap also used a throttle body spacer and a heat shield gasket which also spaces the intake a bit from the head. Would those two things help the issue?

Also- after trying non ethanol premium I went back to regular gasohol and thats when these CELs came up. But I'm not gonna just put non ethanol back in and call it a day. I think theres an issue showing up that the non ethanol had helped keep away. (although the idling issue still happens) My car doesnt feel like its getting the air fuel ratio it should.
I did a bit of research on the matter- if using a k&n filter, excess oil on the filter can clog up the MAF sensor. I dont have an MAF sensor but I do have a MAP sensor. I'm gonna clean it off but does that seem like a plausible issue?
