Hi,
I own a 99 Accord LX. 4 Cylinder.
Hoping someone can help me. I had my sparkplugs changed about 3 month ago.I also changed the air filter. I had these changed due to bad mileage.

But the carstill seems to be using too much gas. It also seems to be working really hard. Not as smooth as it used to be.
Also, if you let go of the accelerator while your driving, it looses power fast, so basically it starts to slow down faster than it used to. Strange. I thought the handbrake was up. But it's off.

Wondering if someone can help explain what are the steps i can take to help make my car more fuel efficient.
I just noticed the check enging light came on today also.

My friend told me to get the injectors cleaned, and change the pvc valve.
i waned to check and see if anyone has any other suggestions.

Go to autozone and they will plug in a scanning device that is under the dash. They code they get will be P####. Post that code on here and someone will give you more specific information.
