I haven't had a cable auto, so I'm not really sure the proper way to adjust it. Search, I'm pretty sure HondaDude or someone has posted the proper procedure.

You check for arcing just like I said. Let the car get absolutely cold, after dark in complete darkness. Open hood & turn off all the lights. Start it & look for sparks. Even a dull blue glow around the wires is NOT supposed to be there. That would indicate some of your spark is being lost - leaking thru the insulation of the plug wires.

Try spraying water with a windex bottle. That brings up the arcing more visible too.

I can help with the tranny cable if you need it. The adjuster nut is in the shifter assembly. Let me know.

Not the cable from the shift lever. The cable I'm talking about is from the throttlebody down to the tranny. Its job is to help the tranny decide when to shift.

Well sir, to fix the leaking oil/water you'll probably have to take it to a shop or a friend.

I can't tell you exactly what seal is leaking, but you can put fluid through your car that helps stop small leaks. (Any auto parts store)
