hello, I recently purchase a 98 accord ex 2.3L from auction.
The radiator heats up, hot to the touch after about 20 or so minutes, and anytime i’m in idle the radiator is producing white smoke, I noticed the fans don’t work which I suspect is a fuse.
The car runs fine even after an hour of driving and temp gauge stays stable, another issue is the climate control buttons don’t work and only occasionally turn on, i’m not sure what this is dependent on.
There’s also a leak going into the car pouring antifreeze onto the passenger side floor.

Ive already purchased a new radiator and it’s on its way, this is post is for anyone with more knowledge than I have to guide me with a diagnosis process or a list of things to check. Thanks guys!

 

As for the leak, it might be the heater coil leaking behind the glove compartment. Or look at the heater hose that goes into the firewall.

As for the control button, that might be dirty contacts. Might try taking the control box out and clean it with 95% alcohol or higher.
