Default oil leak???

1992 Honda Accord 2.2l engine there is an oil leak coming from the back right side of the motor bellow the valve cover. It looks like a PCV valve. Can someone take a picture of their engine and point it out then, if you could tell me what this is so I know what to fix :-) thanks in advance.

If this is a Vtec engine, it may be the Vtec solenoid presssure switch that is leaking. There's an oring seal under the switch that hardens and leaks w/age. Post details of your vehicle and trim in your signature line so it's always there.

good luck

When you say "back-right side of motor" do you mean passenger or drivers side?

The driver's side has a oil pressure switch near the oil filter. They are prone to leak through the switch central core.

good luck

it seams to have a lot of leakage around the timing cover and under the distributor... I thought it was from a switch it's not it's around these areas... would that be a bad camshaft seal?
