who has had there oil light flash steadly

People who let the oil get too low will see that happen.
Or maybe oil has thickened with sludge?
Or maybe the oil pressure switch is flaky?

If you want help troubleshooting, give us some more information. Last oil change? What kind of oil?

i changed oil, filter,and pcv aint seen the light since i appreciate everyones input

 

Just in case it was some sludge, maybe next time you change oil poke around the pan with some wire. Hopefully you won't find any muddy crud. If you do, consider some engine flush/antisludge stuff & more frequent oil changes in the future.

Motor-Flush?
I don't remember brands right now, but AutoZone will have all kinds of stuff that you add to the crankcase just before you change oil. Idle for 10 minutes then drain. (read the actual instructions don't take my word for it)

I think there's some stuff called Auto-RX or BG-44K (maybe both) which is a LOT more expensive. You put it in for the whole oilchange interval 5k miles or whatever. Dissolves sludge more slowly so large chunks don't break loose.

All of this is ASSUMING that you find sludge. Next oilchange make a hook from a coathanger & poke it in the drain hole. Slide it all around inside the oilpan & look for solid crusty things. If there's NO sludge, then I'd probably just do oilchanges more often without using any extra magic additives.

 

Did you check the oil level to see if that is what put the oil light on? If you have a lot of sludge in the motor and dislodge the sludge it may clog the oil pump pickup.
