Oxy sensor flash codes

Oxy sensor flash codes
Ok, so I was trying to diagnose the rough idle/stalling issues I was having on my 90 Accord. Flash code was 14, so I took off the IAC valve, cleaned it out, and remounted it. Cleared the ECU. Drove it around, and it still stalls on occasion. Here's the strange part. My driveway slopes down from the street to the garage. I noticed that when the car is pointed downhill, and I was backing up the driveway, it really lugged down and stalled. Would be hard to restart. When turned around, and going forward up the driveway, no problems. Now I am getting two new codes, #1 and #41. Code 14 is gone (for now). How hard is it to replace the Oxygen sensor? Any recommendations for brand? I have searched the web and seems like there are tons of brands out there, Bosch and Walker being prevalent.

RE: Oxy sensor flash codes
Keep shopping until you find a Denso sensor.
Bosch, you'll have a 50/50 chance of sucess.
[ya trying to build a volkswagon one part at a time?]
It really makes a difference having the special sensor socket, I like to have the manifold warmed up and then soak the base of the old sensor with penetrating fluid for about 10 min.
An impact will give that sharp fast burst of torque to break loose the sensor.
However the code 41 being intermittant would make me carefully check the wire connections including the connectors at the top of the passenger side strut tower.

RE: Oxy sensor flash codes
Well, I checked and rechecked the connectors for the oxy sensor. Now the code 41 is gone, just leaving the code 1. It still stalls/runs rough when on the downslope, which leads me to believe that it may be a fuel problem?? I just replaced the fuel filter...
