This Accord is finding it difficult to shift to 1st gear when the Gear Lever is moved from N to D.

When I rev the engine high for few seconds, then shift into 1st gear will be smooth.

Been trying to fix this issue.

 

Just stumbled upon this. I know it is an old thread but I'm curious. Did you get this solved?

You said the car still behaves the same way after interchanging shift solenoids A and B. You didn't say whether you scanned and still got the same code afterwards. Was it the same code?

Secondly, it is possible both shift solenoids need replacing. Yeah, a far cry, but possible. At least, just one more thing to try before thinking of replacing the entire transmission.
