Default P2U5 to H2A5 tranny swap?

I've got a '94 EX that blew out 5th gear on a road trip last night. There's a local tranny available but the seller is offering it on behalf of his son who has moved out of state and I'm not sure he has all the facts right. He claims it is out of a '98 Accord. Here's the info I've got:

My tranny: P2U5-2006194. My engine: F22B1
His tranny: H2A5-8014410. His engine: ??

Can I swap these? Thanks.

Chris

I believe that tranny is out of a 90-93 accord and yes I'm fairly sure they fit together. However I am unsure how wiring and everything hooks up to it so can't say anything there.

It's a manual, so there isn't much wiring. All F-series engines and trannys should mate up. The only connector you have to worry about is the VSS.
